We stayed 5 nights in Can Jepet. The house is elegantly simple, cool, newly decorated, with all the amenities we needed. Armentera is a beautiful little village with no tourists (except us it seemed), 10 mins from the beach by car, quiet but friendly Catalan village. It's 30mins from Gerona and Figueras, and one hour from Cadaques and Port Lligat (where Dali lived). Of all the villages and costal towns we went through this was the quietest and most serene. We had a great time, and the house itself was just what we wanted. Nothing too fancy, but well appointed with a fantastic location. The only small criticism we would make was that the terrace at the back is small. We could fit four of us eating there but not much more. However this was a minor problem when there are so many great places to eat out, and you can see the locals dancing the "Sardana" in the village square at midnight if you time your trip well! We had a great time! We would highly recomend Can Jepet. [
