We stayed for one night on our way from Galicia back to Santander to catch the ferry and we were must impressed by the hotel, the position it was in, our room and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We do not speak any Spanish and luckily the gentlemen at the hotel spoke some English and could not be more helpful. They also took us to see and feed the deer and later we had a delicious meal in the hotel. Our only regret was that it was not warm enough for a swim in the pool by the time we arrived and that we were not able to sit for dinner in the lovely covered patio area outside. We will certainly stay there again next time we visit Northern Spain and also recommend this hotel to any friends who visit the area. Katie & Chris, from the UK [menos]

We spent 4 days at Rectoral de Corbres and had a wonderful time. We absolutely loved the hotel, especially our lovely room (4), with a balcony with a marvelous views of the sea. The hotel has been so carefully restored inside with lovely furniture and a cosy bar. Outside there is a lovely courtyard with grappes dripping from the vines overhead (we were there in September) and the whole place feels so welcoming. We also loved the swimming pool and the view from the front garden. Randi, Juan and Mina made us feel so very welcome and were very helpful in suggesting where to go for places of interest and most important, where to eat. The attention to detail at the hotel was incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have already recommended the hotel to friends in Pontedeume and if we ever come back to the area, we would definately stay there again.
