La cena escasísima y muy particular (no a todo el mundo le gustan los caracoles sin salsa, el rabo de toro y un pescado de tercera). Te transporta sin ningún problema a otra época, en la que todo es más sencillo. En el hotel te sientes como en tu propia casa, Mercedes, la encargada, se ocupa de que esto sea así. Tiene tanto todos los detalles que necesitas como todas las comodidades. Nous avons été accueillis et pris en charge comme des rois par Mercèdès (qui parle bien français et anglais). Lit latin très large ; petit déjeuner copieux avec produits locaux. Mercèdès a aussi des talents culinaires ! La tour c'est du ouf, très sympa ! Nous reviendrons, surtout qu'il y a dans les environs des vignobles et de nombreux sites à visiter de toutes le époques et pour tous les goûts (merci Juan Luis). Mercedes welcomed us each morning with a big smile and a great breakfast. The Palacio is so spacious that we felt like Royalty and our room with its bathroom was far nicer than staying in a ***** Hotel. The nearby village, Roa de Duero has lots of shops and a jolly restaurant. We got a stylish room at the Tower with a breathtaking view and we found a very friendly staff there. We practically had the entire palace to ourselves, and I know it's the closest I will ever get to feeling like nobility. The rooms and lounging areas are comfortable and the internet access is a rarity for that area.
