Casa la Xerra is a wonderful place for those looking for peace and quiet. In the morning one is woken up by the birds and in the evening falls asleep with the sound of cowbells. No matter you prefer going to the seaside or trekking to the mountains you will find la Xerra a perfect base. Ana, the host, did her best to understand my poor Spanish and made the conversation fluent with a bottle of wine. Breakfasts were a journey by the trail of home-made jams, marmalades and local cheese. She is indispensable in advising where to go and what to see. We hope to visit her again! Thank you, Ana!!!
